Just a few of the Crestview High school students that made quilt squares for the SOS Security Blanket. Over 200 students were made aware of how much petroleum we use and how it affects us and our environment. The students saved their plastic from just one day to make their squares, we had enough to make over a thousand squares! We discussed simple changes we could make in our daily lives to help. Students were excited to have their voices heard and crocheted, painted, and made collages from their plastic that will become part of the quilt.
